Such nice staff and night portier! He brought me a blanket at 01:30 am! And the cleaning ladies who washed our clothes after dirty night in London! Best ever!

On a night when no one else seemed to be serving food (sunny and warm tuesday!) we could not have done better than choose this place even if they had been! Lovely choice, beautifully cooked, tasty dishes of good quality food and at reasonable prices. Service could not have been better and the music was just so, right type and not intrusive but worth a listen. Beware! The cheesecake is huge! Must visit again.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! Arranged a stay here for 6 rooms: 11 adults, 5 young children with a meal in the restaurant for a family birthday. It was a trip a long time in the planning and the staff were so responsive, polite and helpful with all my phone calls and emails; from pre-ordering food, getting extra beds for kids into rooms and recommending the best place to park in town. On the day of our arrival we had a big family meal in the restaurant and I tell you, the food and service was second to none! The lovely staff could not have been friendlier and the three courses of food were absolutely delicious! The building itself and the rooms are beautiful and comfortable. It was a warm evening and they were able to accommodate fans for our comfort. It’s a very short walk to the castle and well located for shopping and visits to the market hall and the park. I absolutely cannot wait to visit again. Can’t remember having a better trip away!!

Lovely lunch - a friendly welcome & plenty of choice of food and drinks for all tastes. My children are both autistic so eating out can sometimes be a challenge, but they loved their meal & chilled atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back when next in Shrewsbury & have recommended to friends too.

A great experience with some friends celebrating a birthday. The place is set in what looks like a old converted church building which gives a unique atmosphere. The staff were friendly and attentive. A good selection of food, which catered for all the dietary requirements for our group. Tasty food and great customer service. Prices are reasonable. Definitely worth another visit.
